Fasciolopsiasis is an infection cause by a parasitic disease called Fasciolopsis buski which in fact infects humans and pigs in the Southeast and Far East Asia population which includes the mainland of China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Fasciolopsis buki is the largest intestinal fluke and is the member of class Trematoda. The Fasciolopsis buki live on the walls of the gastrointestinal tract which it can easily through the intestines were it can cases infection. The first case of Fasciolopsiasis was discovered in Malaysia from a 39 year old female farmer, a native of Sabah (East Malaysia). It estimates that ten million cases occur yearly.
